This panel brought together talent managers, marketers and influencers to discuss content that converts. Influencer marketing used to be used as a way to get brand awareness out to influencers’ audiences but over the last few years we’ve seen a shift to a focus on conversion. Brands don’t want to spend big bucks without some guarantee that they will see an uptick in sales. This discussion was about how influencers can increase conversion while staying true to their own voice (and how to avoid sounding like a used car salesman). We discussed what brands want these days, what influencers do to motivate action from their followers and how managers can support this. It was a multifaceted discussion from multiple viewpoints.
